DON'T GO BACK is the first single from Melbourne singer/songwriter Murray Johnstone under the Bermuda Shades moniker since 2019's Camouflage ep'. Continuing on from the same stripped-back approach (using only a 6 string bass and drums for backing) there's a great deal of tension steadily building in this sound here with Johnstone's low haunting narrative drenched in reverb as if dragged from a darkened swamp on the edge of town to paint a beautifully darkened picture of a lonesome character driven to the point of no return.
